What you own after launch

When Shapes Infinity completes your website, you receive:

  • The website code (the files that make your site work)
  • The code repository (where the code lives and updates are tracked)
  • The domain name registration in your name
  • The hosting account in your name
  • All design files used to build the site
  • An admin panel so you can edit your website after launch

These are yours to keep, use, move or sell. You are not renting them. You are not locked into using Shapes Infinity for updates or maintenance. If you want to move your site to another host or another company later, you can.

When ownership transfers

Ownership transfers when your final payment clears. Shapes Infinity uses a simple payment split: 30% to start work and 70% on completion. Once that 70% payment arrives, you own everything.

Before that, during development, Shapes Infinity keeps the code and files safe. After launch, they are yours.

What's included in your year one

Every website build includes one year of free bug fixes after launch. If something breaks or does not work right, Shapes Infinity fixes it at no extra cost. This is called the Care Plan Year 1.

Year one also includes:

  • Website hosting
  • SSL certificate (security for customer data)
  • The admin panel to edit your site yourself

After year one, you decide what to do next. You can renew hosting with Shapes Infinity, move to another host, hire another company to maintain the site, or do it yourself. The choice is yours because you own it.
